All members must achieve minimum 'A' Certificate within 6 months of joining the club. Until they do so they must be accompanied by an approved club instructor whilst flying.

2. All instructors must have a minimum 'A' Certficate, the commitee will maintain a list of approved instructors.

3. Vehicles must be parked in the area provided. Members are allowed to drop equipment off at the side of the pit area but must then comply with the above instructions, and must at all times keep their vehicles off the mown grass area.

4. Permitted flying hours for
all aircraft will be :- 10-30 am - 8-30 pm Weekdays.

In addition there will be a short non-flying period each day: -

There are no restrictions on the hours for NON-POWERED Gliders.
There will be no I.C. powered control line flying permitted on Saturday or Sunday.

Special functions taking place on the nearby playing field may require us to further limit our flying hours. Members must use their own discretion in this situation, remembering that good flying fields are hard to find.

5. Engine noise must be restricted to a maximum of 82db at 7 meters, or within any future DOE requirements.

6. Radio controlled equipment must be operated on ODD frequencies only.

7. RADIO CONTROL FAILSAFES

Any powered models flown with a radio control failsafe device must have that device set so that its operation brings the engine / motor to run at its lowest speed ( stopped in the case of electric powered models ) and specifically not to HOLD the last position of the engine / motor control.
It is the responsibility of the pilot to ensure that the failsafe is operating correctly before each flying session and he/she may be required to demonstrate this to a club official

8. ALL FLYING MUST BE WITHIN THE DEFINED BOUNDARIES, AS INDICATED ON THE SITE PLAN BELOW.

9. The maximum number of I/C powered models in the air at any one time is limited to four, including control line models when permitted.

10. Frequency pegs can only be retained for a maximum period of 15 minutes when the flying field is busy.

11. Pilots are required to obey instructions given by officials of the club at all times.

12. Members wishing to have visitors fly at the club field may do so provided that the visitor can show proof of a valid 'A' Certificate and valid insurance and that prior permission is obtained from a club official.
All guests must abide by the club rules
