A new feature of the DMAC website is the Video clips section, featuring video clips & links sent in by our members. A broadband connection is not essential, but recommended if you want to view the video clips online. Alternatively, you can download them from the site by selecting "save target as" & then save them to your own PC for viewing offline.

Keith Appleton has now taken over the day to day administration of this site, so please email all news items, photographs, articles or anything for inclusion to:

Please make the effort!

Thank you

AIRCRAFT CRASHES IN FLAMES

A model "Spitfire" owned by a DMAC member has recently crashed & burnt to a cinder upon impact with the ground. Correspondence & discussion is welcomed as to the probable cause of this catastrophic failure - flight battery short circuit under the fuel tank? - exhaust overheating igniting fuel? In all my model flying years, I have never seen this & it is most unusual to have a model flyer attempting to join the "Guinea Pig Club" so long after World War II ........ !
